To ensure a basic knowledge of DOT HazMat Regulations and be prepared for the workshop,participants are strongly encouraged to complete 8 hours of online coursework prior to the start ofthe workshop.

The intent of the online prerequisite is that everyone in the workshop begins with a basic understanding of DOT HazMat Regulations. The prerequisite is not required to attend however it is highly recommended.

Raymond C. Davis is the President and CEO of RL Environmental Consulting and Training, Inc.; a Division of RL Enterprizes, Inc. Mr. Davis has 30 years of experience in environmental, health, safety, security and sustainability(EHSS&S) program development. His responsibilities include operation management of the development and delivery of quality environmental consulting and training services to both government and private industry in the areas of: OSHA General Industry, Construction and Site Disaster Worker/EPA/DOT Program Development and Training, DHS NIMS ICS 300/400 and FEMA Hospital Emergency Response Training (HERT) for Weapons ofMass Destruction (WMD) Mass Causality Events, national and international ISO 14000 EnvironmentalManagement System Consulting and Training, DOT Commercial Driver Training Programs, Phase I and Phase II Property Assessments and Training, EHS Consulting and Auditing Services, and Instructional TechnologyConsultation (ANSI ISO 17024).

Mr. Davis is a “Fellow CHMM” with the Institute of Hazardous Material Management (IHMM),
2014 IHMM Fellows Committee Member, IHMM Business Development Committee Member, 2007/2011 IHMMCHMM Dacum JTA Panelist (ANSI) and is a 2013 Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) CET JTA Panelist (ANSI). A certified member of the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals (AHMP) past chairing the Professional Development Committee (PDC) and past vice chair of the Homeland Security Committee (HS). Mr. Davis is also a certified member of the National Registry of Environmental Professionals (NREP) and pastmember of NREP’s Exam Committee, a certified member of the National Environmental Safety and HealthTraining Association (NESHTA ) (former CIT and still CET) and member and past 2015 Board of Director Member of the Dangerous Goods Trainers Association (DGTA) and has been involved in the PHMSA HMIT Grantas the PHMSA HMIT Grant Project Director and CDGT Beta Exam Testing and is an IHMM CHMM ExamCommittee Member.
Mr. Davis is also the past 2016-2017 National Partnership for Environmental Technology Education (PETE) PHMSA HMIT Grant Project Lead Instructor, current NASA Safety Training Center (NSTC) Contracted Instructor and Past Green Talk Network Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Sustainability (EHSS&S)Internet Show Host.
Mr. Davis has been a contracted instructor at Cleveland State University Center for HazMat Education and theUniversity of Phoenix locations in Region 5.
